No, Splytt works entirely without sign-up. You can create a free group valid for 15 days without giving your email. An account is only required for the Vacation Pack (€4.99/year) or Premium.
How much does Splytt cost?▾
Splytt is free for up to 5 members per group and 15 days of activity. The Vacation Pack at €4.99/year allows up to 20 members and groups lasting up to 100 days — ideal for long trips.
How does Splytt calculate reimbursements?▾
Splytt uses a transfer-minimization algorithm. Instead of asking everyone to pay everyone back, it computes the smallest number of transfers needed to balance the group.
Is my data private?▾
Yes. Splytt only stores group data (names, expenses, amounts). No banking information is requested. You can delete a group at any time. See our privacy policy for more details.
Does Splytt work for trips abroad?▾
Yes, Splytt supports over 50 currencies with automatic conversion. You can enter an expense in yen, euro, dollar, and Splytt converts to the group's currency.
Can I use Splytt for a flat-share?▾
Yes, Splytt also works for roommates. Recurring expenses (rent, electricity, subscriptions) can be added each month. A Premium version is in the works for long-term flat-shares.
